This shift knob has the high gloss mirror finish that we normally use. It is moisture and uv resistant, but like all of our shift knobs, we recommend keeping the shift knob covered when the car is parked outside for long periods of time (30 mins or longer).

Please DO NOT use a thread-locking fluid. Use the supplied jam nut (if applicable) to position the shift knob to the desired angle. The inner adapter will get stuck to the automobile if a thread-locking fluid is used.
The coating on the shift knob is water and UV resistant, but care should still be taken to ensure a lifelong shift knob. Use a cover when parking outdoors for extended periods of time (30 mins or longer).
